What are we doing here?

THE GOAL OF THE COURSE
The goal of this course is to shape each student into a critical thinker for all students. Our goal is for your children to use the historical knowledge to assess and problem-solve current issues. With a focus on 21st Century Skills and character building, this course will include a great deal of group collaboration, research, argument and thesis-development, and sharing ideas in a wide range of mediums (especially in writing).  We will also visit various local political leaders, groups, and institutions. We will be adhering to the Colorado State Standards for History, Reading Writing, and Communicating Grade Level Expectations.
